Cahuilla gets extremely cool and interesting growth , including areola skips , strange notches and it even grows nubs , and vestigial growth! It ribshifts, terminates and stacks often becomes almost monstrose , showing unusual lumps with its ribs twisting and turning !
The original cahuilla stand has put out variegation and cuttings have also began to variegate ! Variegated pups are brilliant yellow and lime green ! Cahuilla grows very very fast , and becomes girthy and fat , with columns reaching 2 feet in circumference, cuttings can often grow 5-6” thick and the original stand has even larger diameter pieces.
This cutting is calloused and ready to ship , it is growing healthy and quick , its tip is in full growth mode and will do great for you !! This is full sun grown outdoors and has normal healed scars as most all outdoor inground cactus do . Tape measure is in inches for size reference.
