It is a naturally occurring intergenetic hybrid between Pachycereus pringlei and Bergerocereus emoryii. Found growing in the wild only one place on earth, in a small area of Baja California.
Grows extremely fat and very tall as a strong columnar cacti reaching more than 20 feet! New spines can range from purple red to yellow and fade to white and or black! Gets branches and pups readily- cold hardy to freezing temps 30degrees f-possibly lower.
Gets a beautiful yellow iridescence flower and produces a fruit covered in strong sharp spines!
Flowers produce fruit and the Seeds are huge and viable, growing fast into a beautiful young cactus !
