Cahuilla is my favorite cactus! ! Cahuilla gets extremely cool and interesting growth , including areola skips , strange notches and it even grows nubs , and vestigial growth! It ribshifts, terminates and stacks often becomes almost monstrose , showing unusual lumps with its ribs twisting and turning ! The original cahuilla stand has put out variegation and cuttings have also began to variegate ! Variegated pups are brilliant yellow and lime green ! Cahuilla grows very very fast , and becomes girthy and fat , with columns reaching 2 feet in circumference, cuttings can often grow 5-6” thick and the original stand has even larger diameter pieces. This cutting is calloused and ready to ship , it is growing healthy and quick , its tip is in full growth mode and will do great for you !!
